Somewhere secure to leave a car, motorbike or trailer in Kent — locked inside its own 20ft container on a gated, CCTV-monitored yard in Paddock Wood, with 24/7 access whenever you want it back.
Stored inside, not parked outside
Most vehicle storage near here is a space on a field or a corner of a yard, with your car sat out in the weather next to everyone else’s. Ours is different: your vehicle goes inside its own 20ft shipping container, and you put your own padlock on the door. Nobody else has a key, and nobody walking past can see what’s in there.
The containers are dry, ventilated and damp-proofed, standing on hardstanding rather than grass — so the yard works in January as well as July, and you’re not driving off a soft verge in the wet.

What we take
| Cars | Yes. A 20ft container takes a standard car. |
|---|---|
| Motorbikes | Yes — with room for the bike and its kit. |
| Trailers | Yes — box trailers, plant trailers, general trailers. |
| Caravans & motorhomes | No. We don’t store these, so please don’t make the trip. |
| Boats | Depends on the size — give us a ring and describe it and we’ll tell you straight away. |
Why people use it
A car you’re not using
A classic, a project, a second car, or one sitting idle while you’re working away — or simply no garage or driveway at home.
A bike over winter
Somewhere dry and locked to lay the bike up for the cold months, rather than under a cover in the garden.
Trailers between jobs
Somewhere to leave the trailer that isn’t the front of your house or a permit street.
The site
| Security | Electric gate on fob entry, palisade fencing, CCTV recorded and monitored 24/7, lit at night. |
|---|---|
| Your unit | Your own 20ft container, your own padlock — only you hold the key. |
| Access | 24/7 by fob once you’re set up. Drive right up to the container; no height restriction at the gate. |
| Power | There’s external lighting across the yard, but no electricity inside the containers — worth knowing if you were hoping to keep a battery on charge. |
| Minimum term | One month, then 14 days’ notice when you want to leave. |
| Insurance | We’re covered by public liability insurance. Cover for the vehicle itself is something you arrange. |
Straight answers
Do you store motorbikes?
Yes. A motorbike goes into its own 20ft container the same way a car does — locked, dry and out of sight, with room for the bike and its kit.
Do you store caravans or motorhomes?
No. We know it’s a common request, but it isn’t something we offer — we’d rather say so plainly than have you drive over.
What about boats?
It depends on the size of the boat. Give us a ring, describe it, and we’ll tell you straight away whether it will work.
Can I get to my vehicle at any time?
Yes. Once you’re set up you have 24/7 fob access to the yard and your own container. New customers arrange a time to come and see the site and do the paperwork first.
How quickly can I move a vehicle in?
Usually the same day. Ring or email us and we’ll sort a time to meet you at the site.
Is there power in the container? Can I keep a battery on charge?
No — there’s lighting across the yard, but no electricity inside the containers, so a battery conditioner won’t work. Disconnect the battery, or take it home to charge between visits.
Can I keep tools, spare fuel or oil in there with it?
Tools and kit, yes. Spare fuel, oil, paint and gas bottles, no — flammable substances are on the list of things our terms don’t allow in a unit.
Do I need my own insurance?
We carry public liability insurance. Cover for the vehicle itself is yours to arrange — check your policy allows for the vehicle being kept in storage off the public road, and tell your insurer where it is.
Do I need to SORN it?
If the vehicle is off the road and you’ve stopped taxing it, the DVLA requires you to declare it SORN. That’s between you and the DVLA — it isn’t something we arrange.
What’s the minimum term, and how do I leave?
One month minimum. When you want to leave, give us 14 days’ notice.
How do I pay?
Bank transfer, standing order or cash, monthly.
Where we are
The yard is on Queen Street in Paddock Wood, between Tonbridge and Maidstone — around fifteen minutes from Royal Tunbridge Wells and twenty from Maidstone. We serve west Kent: Tonbridge, Royal Tunbridge Wells, Maidstone, Sevenoaks, Staplehurst, Marden, Cranbrook and the villages in between.
Because vehicles are stored in a container rather than a parking bay, it’s worth the drive even if you’re not local — you’re leaving it locked and out of sight rather than on a field.
We also offer removals across the same area, and the full range of container storage for homes and businesses.

Easy and secure. The containers are dry inside, whatever the weather. I was wondering about that, as I have my craft items there, but after almost a year – no problems. Extremely decent price for the space you get. Easy access 24 hours (you get your own entry fob). Cameras, and great communication with staff (should you need it). Highly recommended.
