Removals in Paddock Wood

We run the removals ourselves — our own team and our own van — across Paddock Wood and the villages around it. And because we’re a storage yard first, we’re the only people locally who can move you and hold your things in the same trip.

One team for the move and the storage

Most moves have a gap in them. The completion date slips, the new place isn’t ready, or you’re downsizing and half of it has nowhere to go yet. Usually that means a removals firm, a separate storage company, and two sets of paperwork.

We’re a container storage site on Queen Street that also does the moving. Your things can come off the van and straight into a 20ft container on the same site, then come back out whenever you’re ready — no second company, no second collection charge, no handover between two firms who’ve never spoken.

What we move

Packing materials and collection

We sell packing materials — boxes, tape, bubble wrap — so you’re not hunting round for them the week before you move. We also collect and deliver goods, which is worth knowing if you only need a few things shifted rather than a whole house.

We cover the same area as our storage — Paddock Wood and the towns and villages around it:

Villages: Five Oak Green, Capel, Brenchley, Matfield, Horsmonden, Goudhurst, Lamberhurst, Pembury, Yalding, Beltring, East Peckham, Wateringbury, East Farleigh, Barming, Hadlow, Hildenborough, Leigh, Rusthall, Castle Hill.

If you’re just outside that and it’s a sensible distance, ask — we’d rather tell you yes or no on the phone than have you guess from a list.

Straight answers

Do you do the move yourselves, or subcontract it?

Ourselves. It’s our own team, and they’re the same people who run the storage site.

Do you sell packing materials?

Yes — boxes, tape and bubble wrap.

Are my belongings insured while you move them?

We carry public liability insurance. Cover for the contents themselves is something you arrange, not something included in the price — the same as with our storage. We’d rather tell you that up front than have you find out from the small print.

Can I store things between moving out and moving in?

Yes, and it’s the main reason people call us rather than a removals-only firm. Our containers are 20ft (146 sq ft), the minimum let is one month, and you get 24/7 fob access to your own unit with your own padlock on it.

How far in advance should I book?

As early as you can, but ring us even if it’s short notice — we can often move things around. Storage can usually start the same day.

How do I book?

Phone or email. For storage, new customers come and look at the site and do the paperwork first; after that you come and go as you like.
